Develop immersive VR courses tailored for vocational education settings
Explore effective VR curricula, and promote their adoption in vocational education environments
The goal of this project is to establish a VR research lab that spans from foundational research to educational training in VR. Focusing on vocational education settings, we aim to develop contextualized, immersive VR skills training courses that combine hands-on activities with high-level thinking instructional methods. The project explores the application of VR in practical training and internship courses.
We have outlined the following specific initiatives:
VR Laboratory (In Preparation)
- Location:Heng-Yi Building 502, Huaxia Campus, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology
- Responsible Teacher:Professor Wei-Kai Liu
SVVR Virtual Reality Interactive Course Research and Promotion
The application of Surround Video Virtual Reality (SVVR) technology provides rich 3D imagery in science, history, language, and information courses, offering students an immersive experience that enhances learning motivation and improves learning outcomes.
