The 22nd AASVET International Conference will be grandly held at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology from October 28 to 30, 2026.
The theme of this conference, “Transforming TVET for Sustainable and AI-Empowered Workforce Market,” focuses on the paradigm shift of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) amid the wave of AI and sustainable development. It will further explore the future directions of skills redefinition, pedagogical innovation, and lifelong learning ecosystems in response to evolving workforce demands.
This conference will also be held in conjunction with the presentation of research outcomes from the National Science and Technology Council’s Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Division of Applied Science Education research project. The presentation theme is “Paradigm Shift in TVET in the AI Era: Redefining Skills and Pedagogical Innovation for Sustainable Workforce Needs.” Through this event, we hope to foster dialogue and exchange among academic research, educational practice, and policy development. Scholars, researchers, and educational practitioners from Taiwan and abroad are sincerely invited to submit abstracts and participate in the conference.
