The goal of this project is to promote technology-assisted self-directed learning programs in vocational high schools. By leveraging the team’s long-term expertise in digital and contextualized learning (e.g., game-based learning) and building on accumulated achievements, the project is committed to enhancing self-directed learning, learning motivation, higher-order thinking, communication skills, emerging technology literacy, social innovation competency, and global perspectives.

In the knowledge application stage, it is essential to align course content with various learning activities. Based on years of research outcomes, our team can offer at least 12 instructional models that are applicable to a wide range of courses and contexts. Teachers can incorporate these strategies into the design of self-directed learning activities.

These strategies can be combined with a variety of digital tools such as multimedia, animations, apps, surround video virtual reality, and collaboration platforms, depending on the instructional materials and teaching environment.

Technology-Assisted Self-Directed Learning Promotion Program for Senior High Schools - Mid-Term Showcase

Twice a year, we hold showcase events where schools can observe and learn from each other’s achievements. Committee members are invited to provide guidance, helping to promote self-directed learning.
