The Empower Vocational Education Research Center (EVERC) at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology proudly announces that three of its faculty members—Prof. Hou-Chiang Tseng, Prof. SuFen Chen, and Prof. Kuan-Yu Chen—have been honored with the 2025 Future Tech Award for their research achievement, the “Intelligent Oral Presentation Assistance System” This recognition not only highlights their outstanding contribution to applying artificial intelligence in the field of educational technology, but also embodies the Center’s mission of advancing educational innovation and technological integration.

The Intelligent Oral Presentation Assistance System provides learners with real-time, multi-dimensional feedback on their oral performance, thereby enhancing communication effectiveness and cross-disciplinary competence. With strong applicability in language training, professional presentations, and intercultural communication, this research outcome demonstrates significant academic and practical value. Furthermore, it aligns closely with the Center’s promotion of the 5C core competenciesCommunication, Collaboration, Creativity, Cross-domain Integration, and Cultural/Global Literacy—serving as an important milestone in transforming vocational education and nurturing high-quality talent.
