Social Innovation Action Literacy
This project is designed as an issue-based, action-oriented study, extending the teaching content of existing vocational high schools and technical colleges. It shifts from a knowledge and skills-based approach to a problem-solving orientation, and from a natural principles inquiry to a social issues inquiry. The goal is to provide students with opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to solve current cross-disciplinary science and technology issues related to society and the environment.
The project execution plan includes integrating the concept of socially innovative, action-oriented courses into existing engineering and management courses, while also developing independent digital course modules to promote interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary education. The former aims to broadly cultivate competencies, while the latter seeks to deepen action-oriented skills. Finally, technology will be used to assist both approaches by providing appropriate reading materials.
