Abstract
- Developing localized teaching methods to help Taiwanese students shift their perceptions of mistakes from fear and anxiety to acknowledgment and learning, fostering a more positive and proactive educational environment.
- Launching an “Emotional Education” course through the “ESDS Platform” to assist students in understanding, expressing, and regulating emotions, thereby reducing the negative impact of emotions on interpersonal relationships, school life, and society.
- Developing AI-based emotion recognition technology, as well as VR and AR augmented reality technologies, to benefit vocational and technical colleges by establishing advanced digital teaching models that enhance student motivation and improve teaching effectiveness.
- In response to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, industries have increasingly turned to AR and VR-assisted educational training. To align with the future trend of integrating vocational education with the tech industry, appropriate VR-assisted teaching materials are used to support classroom applications and create immersive learning environments. These tools aim to strengthen students’ critical thinking, creative thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary integration skills. Additionally, AR is employed to simulate various internship or work scenarios, guiding students in training to anticipate problems or assess potential risks, thus enhancing the effectiveness of classroom teaching and making learning more enjoyable, shifting students from passive to active learners.
