Summary and introduction
The goal set by this plan is to establish a VR research laboratory to conduct VR research from basic research to education and training. Taking technical and vocational education as the field, we develop a contextualized immersive VR skills training course, combine hands-on and high-level thinking teaching activities, and explore its application in practical internship courses.
- The center develops a teacher-centered portable VR situational learning and instant assessment digital teaching system. This system gets rid of expensive VR equipment and computers and can be combined with a complete VR teaching system using only mobile phones and VR glasses. Teachers only need to provide the teaching videos they have taken, provide the teaching topics and assessment questions, and shoot a simple course introduction. The center’s VR laboratory will integrate the teaching content provided by these teachers into a system with instant testing and evaluation capabilities. Portable VR teaching system.
- This system provides complete unit-based teaching content, including course descriptions, immersive VR teaching content, and learning process records that are tested and evaluated after students learn.
- The biggest advantage of this system is that the technical difficulty threshold for developing teaching materials that can be simulated by VR virtual reality is low, and the cost of teaching equipment is low. It is suitable for promotion and can be easily used by teachers in general technical and vocational schools.
- In the future, it will gradually develop and build into a teaching platform for technical and vocational education. In addition to sharing immersive VR teaching plans and teaching materials in various fields for technical and vocational teachers nationwide, the most important thing is to be able to cultivate and establish excellent local immersive VR teaching platforms. VR technical and vocational teaching teachers and the community provide complete educational training and establish a complete peer review mechanism for immersive VR technical and vocational digital teaching materials, and establish a long-lasting immersive VR technical and vocational digital teaching model through positive interaction.
