Beginner Mechanical Japanese I

Although there are many Japanese language textbooks available in Taiwan, materials focusing on mechanical engineering are rare. This textbook is therefore designed based on Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) levels N5 to N3, starting from the most fundamental gojūon (Japanese syllabary) to various language expressions. All content is integrated with possible application scenarios in mechanical, automotive, and aircraft maintenance fields, featuring vocabulary closely aligned with real-world settings. The goal is to provide learners and professionals in these technical areas with practical Japanese support useful for both study and employment.

Each lesson introduces content step by step through “Grammar Explanations,” “Example Sentences,” and “Short Conversations.” It then reinforces learning with “Application Exercises” modeled after JLPT-style questions. At the end of the book, you’ll find a specialized terminology list, Chinese translations of the texts, and answers to the exercises.
