About Korea University
KU is one of the largest comprehensive universities in Korea. Founded in 1905, it is one of the three most prestigious universities in Korea. It is located in Seoul, the capital of Korea. It is easily accessible by public transportation and has excellent facilities.
Currently, the total number of students is 37,821, and the total number of international students is 1,650. In terms of academic performance, the university is ranked 69th in the world and 11th in Asia in 2021.
Since its establishment in 1960, the Faculty of Education at Korea University has grown and stabilized over the past 60 years. As of 2020, it is ranked 50th in the world in the ranking of universities in the field of education published by Times Higher Education (THE), focusing on research in the areas of higher education, educational psychology, and human resource development, and contributing directly to domestic and international education policies.
As of 2023, there are a total of 254 undergraduate department students and 309 postgraduate students, with approximately 2,600 graduates in education, academia, relations, politics, business, and media.
