The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association was invited to the Japan Affairs course at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. They introduced various aspects of yukata and showcased the unique and diverse facets of Japanese yukata culture. Students also had the opportunity to experience wearing yukata in the classroom, learning how to correctly tie the obi (sash) under the guidance of the instructor. This event not only enriched the course content and broadened students’ international perspectives but also provided a deeper understanding of the values and spirit behind Japanese culture. It also enhances the capability of students to communicate with the foreigners.
